Traditional medicine is essential for acute care—things like emergencies, medications, surgeries, and routine screenings. We’re deeply grateful for it.
Functional medicine complements this by focusing on prevention, root-cause discovery, and optimizing how your body functions every day. Instead of just managing symptoms, we look at the patterns, connections, and early signs of imbalance that often get overlooked.
It’s not an either/or approach. Functional medicine works with your existing healthcare team to give you a more complete, personalized, and proactive picture of your health.
Functional labs look at how your body is functioning, not just whether something is “within range.” They help us identify patterns, deficiencies, and early imbalances—often before a diagnosis shows up on traditional labs.
Where conventional tests look for disease, functional testing helps us explore the why behind symptoms like bloating, fatigue, hormone shifts, or food sensitivities—so we can be more proactive and personalized in your care.
Not always. While testing provides a clearer roadmap, it’s not required for every case. If you’re not ready to test right away, we can still begin with symptom-based support and use testing later when it makes sense. Some programs include testing by default; others allow for a more flexible approach.
Yes. If you’ve already completed labs—bloodwork or functional—we can review them through a functional lens. This service is offered through our Functional Snapshot session or as part of our ongoing programs. We’ll help you understand what those numbers may be signaling and how they connect to your current symptoms.
Gut health is deeply connected to your hormones, immune system, energy, mood, inflammation, and even how your body responds to stress. By supporting gut function, we’re helping to restore balance across multiple systems—not just digestion. We often start there because it's one of the first places imbalances tend to show up—and one of the most powerful places to create change.
Simply put: when your gut is supported, the rest of your body can start to catch its breath too.
Our services are not insurance-based, which allows us to offer more time, personalized care, and access to root-cause testing that often isn’t covered by traditional insurance plans.
That said, some functional labs may be eligible for partial reimbursement or coverage depending on your insurance provider. If that’s something you’d like to explore, I’m happy to guide you through what’s possible based on the lab and your plan.
We also accept HSA/FSA cards and Care Credit to make investing in your health more accessible.

Not at all. Every plan is personalized, and we’ll always start with where you are. Supplements are simply tools—used strategically to support your digestion, energy, hormones, and healing as we work on the root causes.
They’re never one-size-fits-all. I choose them with intention, tailor them to your needs, and adjust them as your body responds. The goal isn’t to rely on them forever, but to use them thoughtfully—so your body can function at its best with less effort over time.
Group programs are a fantastic way to get education, accountability, and support alongside others walking a similar path. You’ll learn, connect, and grow in a community environment while still having access to our guidance and resources.
